FISH WITH BITE......THE NUTS & BOLTS

Having spent much of his youth among the un-spoilt sands and waters of the World Heritage-listed Fraser Island, Paul Jacklin developed an enduring love of the outdoors, fishing and our casual coastal lifestyle.
He continues a life-long habit of collecting the flotsam and jetsam lost and discarded by others and in recent years has seen that hobby morph into an artistic outlet which he now calls “Fish with Bite”.
Paul's appreciation of nature, as well as his irreverent sense of humour are reflected in his sculptural pieces; with a re-imagining of both organic and ‘worthless’ man-made materials into quirky creatures and tactile works.
It is these sculptures that have inspired a series of artwork that are now featured in the FWB Collection.
